About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous terminal operations or locomotive experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate safe work practices.
• Reliability based on previous attendance record.
• Physically able to perform essential functions of the position.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact well with diverse personality types.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the Pack House and Bulk shipping safely.
• Maintain shipping and packing areas free of hazards and in a neat appearance.
• Conduct good housekeeping practices in work areas.
• Perform required PMs on packing and bulk shipping equipment.
• Serve as a customer liaison to truck drivers and customers.
• Conduct equipment inspections and document pre-operational checks.
• Operate locomotives and load/move rail cars according to procedures.
• Conduct business operations prioritizing customer needs.
• Utilize all required safety equipment and follow safety standards.
• Maintain equipment in optimal operating condition.
