At this time, w e are looking for a Shipping Operator to join our AmerCable Team.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to physically move material, possibly up to 75 lbs.
• Good reading comprehension is required.
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have basic mechanical abilities.
• Must be able to operate mobile equipment and computer systems
• Required training includes ISO 9000 principles

Responsibilities

• Operate Mobile Equipment is used to handle materials in the department.
• Process production material into finished goods inventory.
• Follow procedural guidelines handling and processing materials
• Operate department cutting lines.
• Assist all other Team member as needed to increase efficiency.
• Monitor and improve product quality
• Monitor and improve operator/machine efficiency
• Operate the machines according to machine work instructions/SOP
• Produce product “on time” per current work schedule
• Comply with all safety rules at all times
• Follow all housekeeping practices
• Adheres to all AmerCable’s Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices
• Follows and abides by Mattr’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Standards
