When you grow, we grow. How you will make an impact: The Shipping Operator assists with preparing outgoing shipments. Obtain and process product orders including proper labeling and postal charges. Troubleshoot shipping issues that arise and notify supervisor as needed of items that require additional attention. Inspect shipments to ensure they meet Meissners standards. Organizing items ready for shipment in appropriate areas. Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory. This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
Requirements
- Some shipping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to record production results.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn basic computer skills is essential.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
