About The Position

IFF is growing and we are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to be a Material Handler I on our Shipping team. About You The Material Handler I will thoroughly and accurately complete all assigned work including picking stocks and weighing out batches, loading and unloading lorries, packing orders, taking samples, and locating and picking stock in a safe/productive/quality/accountable manner and ensures associated stock accuracy where applicable during the shift. The Shipping Trainee performs assigned work picking and weighing out materials, following GMP/AIB/ISO guidelines and accurately perform Scanner and SAP Transactions. You will report to the shift leader or supervisor and learn news kills to stay current with the needs of the position in a changing environment. You will have great computer skills, GSCE (A-C) or equivalent, and a forklift truck licensed. You will have a great educational background with experience in a food/chemical production environment. Requirements

  • Current Forklift License
  • GCSE (A-C) or equivalent
  • Strong background in computerized stores (SAP)
  • Proficient in Despatch, Inwards Goods, Stock Control, Pallet control and wrapping
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent problem solving skills and numeracy skills
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Results orientated and high attention to detail
  • High level of computer skills in SAP and in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience as an operator in a food/chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Experienceworking with ERP software system (e.g., EMS or SAP).
  • Forklift Driving Experience
  • Current Forklift License
