Job Description Summary Job Description Required Qualifications: Actively participate in a team environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes High School Diploma or GED Required Skills: Proficient ERP system knowledge of material flow processes Proficient administrative/clerical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Proficient verbal and written communication Essential Functions & Responsibilities (definition of job): Generate all required shipping paperwork for internal shipments (Mexico/Norwich) and external customer shipments Expedite customer requirements within shipping area Communicate with key internal customer facing team members to provide details for finished good product Request holds to be released Thorough understanding of all material transactions/processes to ensure order fulfillment accuracy Generate dollars shipped report Ability to learn US Export regulations, both NLR & LRC shipments Work with support teams to identify/release holds impacting material flow (license required, quality hold, credit hold, etc.) Coordinate all activities with our external carriers Assist in shipping area as required Attend required customer portal training Ship confirm in ERP and applicable customer portal Complete hazardous materials training Active careful selection panel member Pass annual eye exam specific to job title Cross train within department Support manufacturing operations across departments and product lines, being flexible as needed. Train less experienced team members Perform other duties as assigned Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Desired Qualifications Advanced lean principles Manufacturing Resource Planning/Inventory Management skills Advanced experience with customer facing responsibilities This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
