About The Position
The Shipping Material Hander is responsible for prompt scanning and loading of trailers from pallets for customer orders and/or interplant shipments.
Requirements
- Basic arithmetic skills; ability to add and subtract
- Ability to operate handheld scanner
- 0-3 months of related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Stack cases on pallet or slipsheet and ensure cases are in good condition.
- Operate handheld scanner. Scan cases to pallet / slip sheet and to trailer.
- Utilize equipment to load orders onto trailers. Maintain flow of goods onto trailer.
- Attach labels and shipping documents.
- Maintain accurate count of cases loaded. Calculate quantities and cases based on order requirements. May assist in keeping row sheet to verify product loaded on trailer.
- Remove empty pallets from locations as they accumulate.
