About The Position

Responsible for unloading and loading raw material from trucks and/or other departments to keep flow of product smooth and efficient. Move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap. Operate forklifts. Store, space, and deliver materials or products. Stack pallets and arrange materials. May be required to palletize and secure material as needed. Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist). Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities. Use the spotter truck to move flatbed and dry van trailers as needed or required. Additional duties as assigned. Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Valid state issued driver's license required
Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered
Strong product knowledge
Forklift experience both stand up and sit down
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail
Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate
Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
