About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Shipping Material Handler is responsible for picking, packing, and loading material while following established procedures and quality standards. This role uses standard warehouse equipment to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing; or a combination of education and experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
• Prepares materials, products, parts, tools, and/or equipment for shipment.
• Receives and processes orders/requests from customers and internal employees.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders, ensuring accuracy using scanning tools.
• Loads shipments on flatbed or LTL trucks.
• Receives and processes incoming materials, products, parts, tools, and/or equipment.
• Inspects materials for potential damage and documents/reports findings.
• Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
• Operates forklift, order picker, reach truck, and walkie rider pallet jack to move materials.
• Standardizes procedures to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance.
