About The Position

American Bin & Conveyor is a steel manufacturing and fabrication facility serving the aggregate and bulk material handling industries. We are hiring a Shipping / Loading / Material Handler to support production, loading, and yard operations in an industrial environment.

Requirements

• Experience in general labor, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial work preferred
• Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to become certified)
• Willingness to learn overhead crane operation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on/off trailers while wearing PPE
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all seasons
• Safety-minded, dependable, and team-oriented
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Load fabricated steel materials, parts, and equipment onto trucks.
• Move materials throughout the shop and yard using forklifts, cranes, and mobile equipment (training provided)
• Verify incoming materials against packing slips and scan into inventory systems
• Band, palletize, and prepare steel components for shipment
• Support blast and paint room loading/unloading
• Kit parts for fabrication and assembly
• Maintain organized, safe yard and material storage areas
• Perform general labor tasks to support manufacturing, shipping, and maintenance teams
• Complete daily equipment inspections and weekly safety tasks
• Other duties as assigned by management.
