JOB DETAILS Starting Salary: $18.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential Shift: 2nd shift 5:00pm to 3:30am Monday through Friday (Saturday based on business need) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The worker reviews work orders and “pulls” or selects the appropriate pieces for shipment. This job takes place in the shipping area of a Vinyl Window manufacturing plant.

Requirements

  • Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Ability to frequently push/pull, bend at the waist and neck, kneel/squat, reach above and below shoulders, use repetitive hand/arm movements, grasp (poser/pinch) and use foot controls to operate foot-brake on rolling carts to meet the physical demands characteristic of this job.
  • Can work well with others, 2-3 man team
  • Manually loading windows
  • Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions
  • Capable of using computerized equipment, working with scanners
  • Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
  • Ability to move carts in and out of production areas
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Read paperwork and review work orders and “pull” or selects the appropriate pieces for shipment.
  • Lift, push and pull materials (windows, glass panes and loaded carts).
  • Place pieces on an L-shaped cart and transport 15-20 feet to the loading dock.
  • Review the work order to ensure all pieces are included; then place the pieces into an outgoing trailer.
  • May work on loading the trucks for shipment.
