About The Position
OBE contributes architectural glass and building products to various projects. With over 6,500 employees and more than 80 manufacturing and distribution facilities in five countries, OBE's employees play a significant role in shaping modern environments. The Shipping Loader/Unloader position is responsible for preparing products for delivery and reports to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. This role is suited for an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent attendance, and possesses some mechanical skills.

Responsibilities
- On/off loading of glass from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily
- Assembling boxes, crates, or containers
- Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment
- Weighing, measuring and counting product
- Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed
- Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
- Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren't damaged
