As our Shipping Lead, you are the early-morning engine of our delivery operations, ensuring our fleet is ready and our promises to customers are kept before the rest of the world even wakes up. Your Career in Delivery Leadership Reporting directly to the Shipping Manager or Branch Operations Manager, you will lead the charge during our 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM (Monday–Friday) shift. This is a high-impact leadership role where you provide the training, operational support, and oversight necessary to meet our daily shipping goals in Lexington. Are You the Driven Leader We Need? Requirements

Experience: Prior experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse lead role is preferred.
Driving Mastery: A minimum of 2 years of experience operating a box truck or similar equipment is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with P21, Elite Extra, and Microsoft Office products.
Certifications: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a Medical DOT Certificate.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely, and occasionally move 75+ lbs with assistance.

Experience: Prior experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse lead role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operational Oversight: Lead the daily operations of the Shipping Team, working alongside them to achieve delivery goals.
Routing Mastery: Monitor Elite Extra for route efficiency, exception routes, and updates to ensure timely deliveries.
Quality Control: Inspect outbound pallets for proper building and staging, while tracking and reporting delivery errors to management.
Fleet Readiness: Conduct weekly truck inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
Contingency Support: Serve as the vital back-up driver in cases of high demand or team call-ins to keep our deliveries moving.
