About The Position

Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the items in the appropriate/designated areas. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product loaded and shipped. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, pull packs or other power equipment. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following indicated work methods. Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the shipping dock as well as the plant. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Always Comply with all IPS Safety policies and protocols. Other duties as assigned by managers and or supervisors/shift leader. Be accountable for all your personal load tallies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' forklift experience
  • Be able to read and understand loading instructions.
  • Be able to understand and follow all safety rules.
  • Be able to read and understand machine line up.
  • Able to understand and accurately utilize KIWI.
  • Able to utilize RF scanner and perform cycle counts to verify quantities.
  • MUST be dependable.
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift operating experience in industrial manufacturing or other labor-intensive work experience preferred.
