Loads and unloads trucks. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials. Reprint load tags / Stretch wraps products. Locating and moving stock of products onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device for storage or shipment. Continuously moving levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed. Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules. Lubricates fork truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank Ensures all shipping/warehouse paperwork ticket numbers are recorded accurately. Completes pre-inspections and fill out forms. Inspects bales and identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Receiving forklift drivers sign delivery receipts when truck is unloaded. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment Other duties as directed Must comply and support all applicable GMP’s, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities of GFSI food packaging safety program.
