Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a certified forklift operator.
  • Self-motivation.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload inbound or outbound shipments with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Help on monthly cycle counts, accurately documenting all shipments and receipts, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.
  • Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance.
  • Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production or Yard Supervisor.
  • Maintain and build job skills through company training programs.
  • Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required.
  • Conduct visual product quality inspections.
  • Load the correct products on outbound shipments with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Unload products on inbound shipments in a timely manner.
  • Accurately document all shipments and receipts and report any discrepancies.
  • Help on monthly cycle counts held on the last Saturday of each month.
  • Process customer shipments including UPS shipments.
  • Continually expand product knowledge.
  • Follow the direction of the shipping manager.
  • Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES.
