Nucor Tubular Products in Birmingham, AL is seeking candidates for the Shipping Dispatcher positoin. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Setup and coordinate NTP-Birmingham deliveries with customers and carriers. Work with Customer Service, Production and Warehouse teams to maintain an up-to-date, accurate and balanced shipping schedule. Ensure Carriers are Nucor Master Carriers and assist Production Control Supervisor with Outside Carrier recruitment. Ensure that all shipping documents are current and comply with all Federal and Company requirements. Reconcile production and shipping records to ensure complete shipment of materials. Maintain up-to-date records for Shipping. Resolve carrier claims Participate, as needed, with freight rate negotiations. All other duties, as assigned. Requirements

2 years dispatching or in a related field
Must have a strong work ethic.
Able to work a flexible work schedule.
Values safety and will follow all safe work procedures.
Able to work in a diverse work environment.
