About The Position

The Shipping Data Support Technician is responsible for coordinating the flow of work orders to packing stations and supporting the preparation of outbound shipments. This role focuses on processing and maintaining accurate shipping documentation, scheduling freight pickups, and ensuring shipments are completed in line with customer requirements. The position also supports the shipping team with data entry and administrative tasks to keep operations organized and running smoothly.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data entry
Ability to use computer systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office applications
Effective communication skills to work with internal teams and external freight carriers
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic math skills for verifying counts, weights, and shipment details
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks throughout the shift
1–2 years of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or administrative support preferred

Responsibilities

Assign work orders to packing stations to support daily shipping operations
Prepare, review, and print bills of lading and export documentation
Record and submit Advance Shipment Notifications (ASNs)
Post and scan completed shipments in the ERP system
Coordinate and schedule freight pickups with carriers
Maintain accurate customer routing and packaging specifications
Support the shipping team with administrative tasks as needed
Assist with packaging products according to customer specifications when required
