About The Position

The Shipping Data Entry Processor is responsible for performing shipping duties in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and safety regulations. This role involves data entry related to shipping paperwork, invoicing, and order changes, as well as maintaining inventory and ensuring the correct shipment of orders, including international and hazardous materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in shipping data entry
• 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel
• 2 years of experience using a handheld scanner or NetSuite
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

• NetSuite experience preferred
• Computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping duties while complying with SOP's, GMP's, and safety regulations.
• Assist in all physical inventory functions.
• Schedule pickup from truck lines as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the department.
• Perform data entry on the computer including shipping paperwork, invoicing, order changes, labels, etc.
• Ensure correct shipment of international orders and hazardous material orders.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
