About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator/Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing daily logistics and production operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials, coordination of production schedules, and supervision of shift employees. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, meeting production targets, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position is for 2nd shift - Monday - Friday 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM. The right person for this role will be bilingual - speaking English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, production, or warehouse operations, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Must be Bilingual - Spanish speaking.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, production, and inventory management.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to optimize logistics flow.
  • Monitor warehouse operations, including material storage and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with company and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and coordinate production schedules to meet operational targets.
  • Ensure production line efficiency and troubleshoot workflow issues.
  • Monitor and enforce safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Lead and support shift employees to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on production needs.
  • Foster a positive and safe work environment through strong leadership and communication.
  • Conduct shift handovers, ensuring seamless information transfer between teams.
