About The Position

Timely and accurate shipment and invoicing of all orders Generate Bills of Lading and other shipping documents for all shipped product. Assign product to trucks by consulting shipping orders and inventory records Ensure quantity and quality objectives are met for all orders Ensure priority orders ship as requested (both on time and ship via) Interface with carriers, internal sales and customer service departments to maximize performance and customer satisfaction Load trucks with outgoing product as required Prepare documents to route materials Print shipping labels, pack, and ship items Perform all clerical duties as necessary to ensure the accurate and timely shipment of all orders Perform all clerical duties as necessary to ensure the accurate and timely shipment of all orders Must have a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institutiion No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Richmond, VA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Minimum 2 years' experience in shipping department, preferably in a manufacturing organization Prior forklift certification strongly preferred Position Criteria: Ability to use computer systems including SAP, Excel, Outlook Strong problem solving and communication skills Must be able to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Requirements
