The Position Shipping Clerk Job Summary Coordinate deliveries to customers on a daily basis, including preparing shipping documents and staying in contact with shipping companies to ensure timely delivery to customers. Assist with maintaining/organizing the product warehouse. Ensure product labeling is consistent with customer shipment. Maintain records of products shipped, preparing regular shipping and receiving reports. Assist Packaging & Shipping Supervisor, Packaging and Shipping Coordinator and Warehouse Inventory Coordinator. Schedule and coordinate logistics to ensure that there is enough storage space for incoming product from the plant and personnel are on site to manage incoming finished product. Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and customers who are receiving goods. Assist in the monthly Inventory Count of material and finished goods inventory. Provide support to Calcine and Pilot Plant Administrative Assistant/Logistic & Scheduling Specialist. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with Google Suite software or similar spreadsheet, document software.
  • One to two years’ experience working in a warehouse setting preferred.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
