About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. Your responsibilities will include managing shipping and receiving operations, utilizing warehouse management systems, and coordinating with various departments to maintain seamless warehouse distribution. Requirements

• Prior warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes
• Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar ERP systems
• Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and inventory calculations
• Experience with order fulfillment, picking & packing, and order picking techniques in an e-commerce environment
• Ability to load & unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and loaders
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package orders using appropriate materials, ensuring products are secure for transit
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload shipments
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately
• Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders efficiently in an e-commerce setting
• Manage stock levels through regular stocking, inventory checks, and updating MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400
• Ensure all shipments comply with safety standards and company policies for shipping & receiving procedures
• Assist in maintaining organized warehouse distribution areas for optimal workflow and safety
