Requirements

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.. with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
High School diploma or equivalent job experience
Basic use of a computer
Experience with SAP program
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice

Nice To Haves

Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift
Experience in shipping, related work.

Responsibilities

Operating a forklift to move finished product off a conveyor to a designated area in storage
Refilling pallets on a palletizer, changing stretch wrap and topsheet rolls, retrieving empty bags for packaging
Perform shipping duties, including loading van and flat bed trucks, checking in and billing out trucks, answering the phone, loading drop and hook loads scheduled for the following business day, scheduling appointments, filling out safety pre-post inspections on their lift and conducting trailer inspections before loading
Additional responsibilities include dumping unsealed/rejected bags of salt, fixing damaged product, changing out propane tanks, operating pallet inverter and manual stretch wrapper, performing housekeeping duties in their area and more
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
