About The Position

Brahmin Leather Works is seeking a Shipping Clerk in our Warehouse. Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor this position is responsible for but not limited to picking, packing, scanning and shipping product to customers. The position requires general math skills and basic computer knowledge.

Requirements

High School diploma required
Reading, writing, basic math and computer skills are required
Strong attention to detail is required

Responsibilities

Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment
Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
May operate hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area
Pick product in support of the customers
Return product to its proper location
Maintain a high level of quality
Pack orders for Direct To Consumer with care and attention to detail
Operate all machinery assigned to within the safety guidelines established by the company and standard safe work practices
Any other duties as required in support of the business
