Job Summary: The Yard Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the documentation of materials on loads. This role ensures all materials are accurately recorded and organized during the staging and loading process to support efficient delivery and compliance with operational standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in yard coordination, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with steel building materials is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Accurately document every layer of material staged during the loading process.
Maintain detailed records of material types, quantities, and placement for each order.
Verify staged materials match the shop order.
Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies before and during staging.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations in the yard.
