The Terminal Operator at Sprout is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the ITAD terminal, overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of electronic equipment. This position ensures that all activities comply with safety and regulatory standards while maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the processes. Hours are: 2pm to 11pm

Requirements

Previous experience in IT asset disposition (ITAD) or a similar environment preferred.
Experience in inventory management or a related field is required.
Ability to recognize various types of consumer and commercial electronics.
Ability to type 40 words per minute.
Proficient in basic arithmetic.
Proficient in Excel and inventory management software.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Fluency in English is required; Spanish language proficiency is highly desired.
High degree of situational awareness with an emphasis on safety.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift.
Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

Driver Coordination: Greet truck drivers, verify load numbers, and manage driver documentation.
Receiving and Dispatching Equipment: Oversee the safe handling of electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with all procedures and documentation requirements.
Document Management: Organize and manage relevant documents, ensuring all are properly filled out and stored.
Data Collection and Entry: Accurately collect and enter data into the system.
Product Verification: Inspect and verify equipment against Bills of Lading (BOLs), taking pictures for documentation purposes.
Customer Requirements: Ensure customer-specific requirements are met during the handling process.
Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counting, manage stock levels, and perform outbound scanning and sealing of equipment.
Load Status Updates: Keep the system updated with real-time load statuses.
Safety Compliance: Conduct regular safety checks and drills to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Quality Control: Perform quality checks on equipment and ensure compliance with required standards.
