Overall Purpose: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for maintaining shipping material inventory and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all paperwork prior to shipping. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Package and process orders using UPS, FED-EX, DHL and BAX online shipping Accurately handle A.O.G. and expedited orders in a timely manner Interact with various departments, such as Customer Service, Quality Control, Production Control and Manufacturing, on a regular basis Accurately handle a high volume of orders being shipped domestically Train on how to perform international shipments Carry out simple instructions Troubleshoot and/or multi-task to complete the job in a timely manner Adhere to 5S Standards Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety Other Duties: Other duties based on the needs of the Shipping Department The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
