About The Position

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipments of products to customers, maintaining warehouse organization and supporting production with material deliveries. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in shipping documentation, inventory counts, and order fulfillment.
Organization & Time Management: Maintains a clean and orderly warehouse; prioritizes tasks to meet shipping deadlines.
Communication Skills: Communicates effectively with freight forwarders, production teams, and supervisors.
Teamwork & Collaboration: Works cooperatively with others to support production and warehouse operations.
Technical Proficiency: Operates warehouse equipment including high-lift forklifts; uses inventory management systems.
Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting 75+ pounds and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Ship accurate and on-time shipments of products to customers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
Verify and provide all required documentation for domestic and international shipments
Communicate effectively with freight forwarders and logistics partners
Deliver parts and raw materials to production areas
Maintain accurate inventory counts and records
Ensuring safety and organization in all work areas
Escalating critical issues such as shipping errors or inventory discrepancies to the Manager
Following safe work practices and company policies
Accurately and promptly completing all inventory transactions
