Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material handling, inventory management, and receiving (required)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (required)
- Experience using microscopes for small parts inspection (required)
- Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of MRP systems; Mapics/ERP experience (preferred)
- Understanding of material measuring systems and fractions/decimals (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy of part numbers and quantities.
- Organize and store materials using FIFO techniques and maintain a clean, safe stockroom.
- Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Issue components to production lines and support manufacturing schedules.
- Read and interpret BOMs, part requests, and order picking lists.
- Communicate issues promptly to leads, supervisors, or management.
