About The Position
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to fill an opening at a temperature-controlled warehouse in Jurupa Valley, CA for a global cold-chain logistics provider. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm- 10:30pm, with overtime as needed
Requirements
- 12 months of recent stand-up reach forklift experience (high reach)
- Forklift certification required
- Pass Background check, and drug screen
- Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must have steel toe shoes – other PPE provided on site
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in roles such as Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Driver, High-Reach Operator, Order Picker Operator, or Narrow Aisle Forklift Operator is a big plus!
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up high reach forklifts to pick and pull orders in a refrigerated/freezer warehouse
- Perform case picking and move pallets throughout narrow aisles
- Use RF scanner to locate and track products
- Work in a cold environment, including refrigerated and freezer areas
- OT may be required based on workload
