This position is for 2nd shift Mon-Fri 9a-5:30p. This position is responsible for ensuring products are accurately pulled, packaged and shipped in a timely manner This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred
  • Previous or similar work experience is preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties
  • Must be able to complete BRC shipping training program
  • Must demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary
  • Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary
  • Must be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment
  • Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, climb occasionally during the duration of the shift

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling daily international and domestic shipping requirements
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by making sure outgoing orders are accurately packed and shipped in a timely manner
  • Ensuring packages are shipped daily based on the assigned order of priority
  • Receiving and distributing incoming shipments to the appropriate department and/ or personnel
  • Monitoring and maintaining effective recordkeeping (i.e. Receiving Log, etc.)
  • Pulling/ re-stocking products by lot number, bases on a first in first out basis
  • Keeping the department clean and organized
  • Effectively working, interacting and communicating with co-workers and lead/supervisor.
  • Demonstrating professional behavior while working in a team approach when managing challenging situations
  • Assisting in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned
