Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer orders for shipment
• Schedule inbound and outbound trucks
• Maintain reports and assist with shipping-related inquiries
• Pick orders as needed
• Assign and track locations for orders
• Utilize Excel spreadsheets to organize and track orders
• Notify shipping department of orders ready to ship using shipping logs
• Audit materials loaded onto trucks and truckloads prior to shipment
• Book truckloads and troubleshoot material problems
• Prepare bills of lading
• Receive raw materials
• Maintain organization of orders and shipping locations
• Create and print labels
• Create and update work orders
• Assist with scanning and paperwork
• Work with customer service and order entry on requests
• Expedite shipments
