We are seeking a Shipping Clerk - Associate for our Garden Grove, CA Plant.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 

Shift: 2nd Shift   2:00 PM to 10:30 PM 

Summary: Work in a non-climate- controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust, debris, and can be loud at times. Responsible for preparing shipments and sometimes receiving incoming goods. Investigates and resolves shipping non-conformance. Be able to operate forklift, read and understand written directions. Be able to provide report data to the management team. Must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including but not limited to request for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined. Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, reporting early and working late including weekends from time to time.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained, and certified on the hi-lo.
• One year of experience in dealing with overlength freight preferred.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Hi-Lo Certification preferred
• One year of experience in dealing with overlength freight preferred.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfilment: Pulling, prepping, and staging orders to ship out using a rf scanner.
• Packaging & Labeling: Packaging overlength freight via warehouse procedure and applying shipping labels/documents.
• Inventory: Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing items and keeping the warehouse organized. Inspect manufactured goods for defects, quality, proper material and correct size and specifications.
• Material Handler: Moving product from production to stock and organizing product using a rf scanner. Placed unused product back to stock.
• SOP’s- Follow standard operating procedures.
• Housekeeping- Keep your assigned area clean of debris/blockage daily.
• Loader/unloader: Able to safely load customers with product, double checking, and unload customers if need be.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Be able to use/understand Microsoft Office (majority word and sometimes Excel), label software, and tms software.
