About The Position

The position involves various responsibilities related to inventory management, supply ordering, and administrative tasks within the shipping department. The role requires maintaining an inventory of shipping supplies, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring proper storage of these supplies. Additionally, the position includes handling department invoices and requisitions, reviewing department time entries, and managing files for Human Resources. The candidate will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bi-Lingual preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details.
  • Self-starter and very organized.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of basic office software necessary.
  • Team player.
  • Must have great attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle high work volume.
  • Must be able to go down to production floor when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of all shipping supplies.
  • Order supplies when needed and pick up orders from supply and store in shipping.
  • Handle department invoices and requisitions.
  • Review department time and ensure date entries are accurate.
  • Store files for Human Resources on storage trailer.
  • Perform all other duties as needed.
