Shipping Clerk 1 Temp
About The Position
We are currently seeking a Temporary Shipping Clerk to join our team in Pullman, WA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing outgoing shipments, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to customers. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, the ability to learn new tasks quickly, strong organizational skills, and be very detail oriented. Job Duration: Immediate and potentially to 6 months (potential for work beyond 6 months is based on company needs at that time) For informational purposes, the entire pay range for this role is $17.13-$20.95. However, we expect to make an offer at somewhere between $17.13 and $19.00 . Please keep this in mind when applying for this role. We are open to reviewing candidates with more or less experience; the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our offer will be based on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
Requirements
- Proven ability to be a reliable team member who arrives on time and is committed to maintaining a dependable work schedule.
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation.

- Previous shipping or manufacturing experience.
- Experience processing shipments with FedEx Shipmanager and UPS Worldship.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Proven experience identifying process improvements.
- Forklift experience and certification.
Responsibilities
- Packs, examines, and routes outgoing shipments.
- Operates lift trucks, hand trucks, and forklift to convey, move, or hoist items to proper departments or areas.
- Maintains an adequate supply of shipping materials in inventory on hand at all times.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs all computer functions necessary to track shipments.
