About The Position

The Shipping Department is responsible for the packaging, warehousing, and transportation of finished products. This role involves close collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient handling of goods.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (concrete floors indoor/outdoor)
• Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math
• Attention to detail
• Prioritize safety in job performance
• Ability to work well with others and on a team basis
• Punctuality and ability to take direction in a fast-paced environment
• Shipping experience in a fast-paced environment highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Retrieve furniture from the warehouse for loads
• Wrap/box products for transportation
• Scan all pieces while loading, unloading, or organizing the warehouse
• Maintain equipment such as 2-wheelers and motorized vehicles
• Check all Bills of Lading for shipments and receipts for accuracy
• Report damages to the inspection/repair department
• Keep warehouse and dock doors clean of debris
• Perform additional work as directed by supervisor or lead
