About The Position

The Shipping Associate performs functions within Bonfiglioli USA to meet on time delivery with attention to safety and quality.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing and math skills; high school diploma or equivalent; trade school acceptable
• Familiarity with or open to learning various type of material handling equipment
• Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects. Ability to handle and lift 30 pounds; bending and stretching
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of computer usage
• Maintain acceptable attendance record and promptness to work and within assigned work station; reliable, strong work ethic
• Ability to respond to constructive criticism and direction in a positive manner; open minded, positive attitude and willing to learn and listen
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete orders on time
• Pack and Ship orders per delivery dates on paperwork and per targets provided by the Shipping Lead and/or Dept. Manager
• Zero safety incedents
• Adhernce to Safety Regulations within the workplace
• Understands Material Safety Data Sheets for proper handling and disposal of any hazardous chemicals used in their department
• Accuracy of work: correct labelling, packaging, destination, product, quantity, ship method, ASN, freight loading and any other requirements
• Accountable to performing duties as per documented in the standard work instructions
• Daily, weekly, and monthly 5S activities
• Performs other duties, responsibilities and activities as may be required or requested by lead or manager.
