About The Position

The primary duty of the Shipping Associate is to utilize SAP to process data uploaded to the computer for products that need to be packed. Responsibilities include packing individual or master cartons per customer or warehouse requirements while maintaining accurate counts. The associate will operate packaging equipment used to support the packaging process, palletize, label, weigh, and wrap outbound shipments. Additionally, they will accurately pick and count products from storage locations for production and/or shipping, maintain a clean working environment utilizing the 5S program, and use a handheld RF device as needed. The role also requires operating a pallet jack and sit-down forklift as necessary for shipment fulfillment, following all safety and OSHA guidelines to ensure all safety requirements are met, and performing all other activities as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • If no previous forklift experience, must be willing to be trained on various forklift equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse/distribution experience.
  • 3 months of forklift experience.
  • Experience using pallet jack.
  • Experience using sit-down, cherry picker, swing-mast, and walkie rider forklift equipment.
