About The Position

JD Machine Corp. is hiring a Shipping & Parts Preparation Technician to join our team in Ogden, Utah. This position plays an important role in preparing high-precision machined components for shipment to customers across industries, including aerospace, defense, communications, and mining .

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills (including email)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Ability to measure using tools such as tape measures or calipers (preferred)
• Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, polishing, and preparing machined parts for shipment
• Inspecting parts for visual quality before packaging
• Carefully packaging components for safe delivery
• Assisting with shipping preparation and documentation
• Working with the team to ensure accurate and timely shipments
• Maintaining an organized and clean work area
