As part of Carrier Global Corporation, Sensitech is committed to innovation, sustainability, and global impact. Sensitech is currently seeking a Shipping Associate to join our team in Beverly, MA. The Shipping Associate is required to work onsite role and takes responsible for ensuring all customer orders are shipped accurately, completely, and on time, in accordance with Sensitech’s policies and procedures. The Shipping Associate inspects and verifies all outgoing shipments, ensuring completeness of sales orders—including packing lists, certificates, specification labels, properly programmed units, and correct packaging.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ months experience in shipping or material handling
  • Must be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferred.
  • Knowledge of IATA requirements, preferred.
  • Attention to detail
  • Comply with Carrier Safety standard protocol
  • Collaborate and work with other team members

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all sales orders for completeness and accuracy, including but not limited to, spec note labels, properly programmed units and correct packaging.
  • Drive Carrier Excellence initiatives hands-on on the production floor.
  • Record information and drive improvements to processes based on final inspections at shipping.
  • Handle goods being processed for customers to ensure quality standards are met and orders conform to customer expectations.
  • Prepare all Orders for final shipment.
  • Ensure all Special Shipment documents (OSRs and PKGs) are provided as needed.
  • Work with the Programmers and Stock room to address any Order inaccuracies.
  • Ensure all lines are prepared prior to shipping.
  • Check backlog daily to ensure all orders have shipped.
  • Maintain a clean and organized 5S work environment.
  • Maintain a clean working area/environment.
  • Able to work with a cross-functional team and work as a team player.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
