About The Position

Chief Fabrication is seeking a Shipping Assistant to join the Chief team. This position will properly prepare labels, documents and production parts that are requiring shipment . Requirements

Requires 1-3 years in operational knowledge of industrial shipping processes and material handling equipment.
Must have good computer skills using our customer portal sites and our internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system .

Responsibilities

Load flatbed or semi-trailers with finished production parts by placing, rearranging and securing loads to be transported safely to the customer.
Assures that correct quantities are being shipped and properly documented on shipping documents.
Marks, labels and identifies product and parts with proper identification and destination.
Uses forklift, crane and other material handling equipment to move production parts .
