About The Position

Manufacturer of manufacturer has an opening for a Shipping Assistant for its Cable Tray Product in Mauldin, SC. Skills and Qualifications: Manage time effectively, meet personal and departmental goals, and work effectively with other members of the team Possess strong communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic team atmosphere Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred Must have strong computer/data entry skills Bachelor’s Degree or 3-4 years of shipping experience Job Responsibilities: Prepare shipping documents including but not limited to: Bill of Ladings Packing slips Customs paperwork Process invoices Verify accuracy of shipments Maintain close correspondence with sales staff Organize and maintain electronic shipping records Coordinate less-than-truckload (LTL) pickups Oversee and ensure compliance with 6S Safety Program Works closely with shipping employees on manufacturing floor to ensure efficiency and quality; assist shipping employees as needed Develop a thorough knowledge of MP Husky products, services, and capabilities We a competitive benefits package including medical/dental/life insurance/disability, a performance based quarterly bonus, profit sharing plan, 401(k) plan with match, Flexible Spending and more.
