About The Position

The Citterio USA Shipping Assistant is a unionized employee that plays a key role in the logistics and operations of the business. This position supports all shipping functions. This position reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor and operates on the first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Completion of a high school or general equivalency diploma.
• Previous experience in shipping, warehousing, or stockroom operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Forklift certification (optional but beneficial).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in final control of product quality and packaging.
• Pull orders using product rotation system and scan orders.
• Assist in taking inventories.
• Final checks all orders prior to shipping.
• Responsible for proper placement and stacking of finished products where a forklift or high reach is required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom.
• Must have good attendance.
• Perform other job duties as necessary.
• Perform related work as may be required.
