As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at GMA Accessories, Inc., you will play a crucial role in our Distribution Center located in Secaucus, NJ. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes. You will be responsible for working closely with loaders and unloaders to manage the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. Your primary duties will include tracking the receipt of all items based on Shipment and Purchase Orders, efficiently storing inventory in designated areas, and keeping meticulous records of goods and supplies within the warehouse. You will also be involved in managing inventory, including handling transfers and damages, and collaborating with a team of receiving warehouse associates to ensure that all products are handled correctly on a daily basis. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be tasked with complying with shipping procedures for domestic couriers such as UPS, DHL, and USPS. This will involve scheduling shipment pick-ups and deliveries, both domestic and international, and organizing shipping documents and bills of lading. While a college degree is a plus, it is not a requirement for this entry-level position.
