About The Position
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for a variety of tasks, including customer service, inventory management, and shipping and receiving. They greet customers upon arrival, verify incoming materials, and coordinate the shipping and delivery of finished products. Additionally, they generate packing slips, assign unique identification numbers to products, and review orders prior to accepting. This is done by determining Dav-Tech's ability to meet the contractual requirements, performs a risk analysis, and when parts are accompanied with prints, confirms the revision of the print. This position creates detailed work orders in Visual Shop and forwards parts to the appropriate departments. They also contribute to process improvement by developing and maintaining work instructions and integrating sample plans into contract review.
