About The Position

As a Shipping and Receiving Technician, you will work with the operations team to ship and receive products in a timely manner and maintain inventory counts for finished goods and raw materials through accurate documentation to ensure on-time delivery to our customers. Fisher Barton is constantly adding new technologies to improve productivity, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Basic Math skills
• Basic computer skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Fisher Barton Safety and Quality procedures and regulations and business code of ethics
• Pull orders, ensure orders have been pulled, staged and repacked in correct quantities and packaging
• Load and unload trucks as required
• Use scanner to ensure all product is placed into correct location and system is updated
• Create and reprint labels
• Process chips from the Machine Shop
• Package and store finished parts
• Build boxes for shipment of product to customers
• Maintain inventory of commonly used containers
• Build custom wood shipping boxes
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of working areas
