Requirements

  • Typically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree.

Responsibilities

  • Align and inspire teammate participation in all team related activities to include kaizen teams, safety teams, production teams.
  • Responsible for timely shipment of all domestic and international orders.
  • Execute the inventory cycle count program, including identifying, counting, reconciling and adjusting the on hand inventory.
  • Understand shipping regulations for domestic and international shipments and prepare necessary documents for shipping.
  • Understand regulations for the shipment of hazardous materials for domestic and international shipments.
  • Use the ERP system to perform shipping, receiving and materials functions.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (Lifts, Jacks & Cranes, Fork Trucks).
  • Use necessary power and hand tools to crate parts and equipment for damage-free shipments.
  • Operate equipment used for shipping functions (i.e. electronic scale, postage meter, address and labeling machines).
  • Ensure line driven safety goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Work interdependently with other departments to meet or exceed internal and external customer process deliverables/expectations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain process standards and guidelines for plant expectations of key processes KPI's.
  • Manage required resources to ensure optimization of the department budget.
