About The Position

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist Level 1 at Honeywell, you will manage the shipping and receiving operations at the Shreveport location within the Energy & Sustainability Solutions business unit. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within the supply chain, including receiving incoming shipments, inspecting and verifying contents, and preparing outgoing shipments. You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, and report directly to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages, up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems

Nice To Haves

• Experience with forklift operation and certification
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to shipping and receiving

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect and verify contents, and accurately record receipt of goods
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve any shipping or receiving issues
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations related to shipping and receiving operations
