About The Position

Performs a variety of Warehouse tasks focused on shipping and receiving parts and other inventory. Maintains an orderly work area and assists Inventory Control and the parts counter as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent a must
• Capable of ensuring ordered inventory is received undamaged and documenting when it is not
• Ability to work with others in a team environment and fosters healthy working relationships
• Ability to take directions in a fast-paced work environment
• Stays focused on and completes assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Customer friendly appearance and mannerism, Represent the company in a professional manner

Nice To Haves

• Experience in receiving shipments and running a forklift a plus

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound freight shipments, making sure they are received undamaged and that the contents of the shipment match the packing slip – Part number and quantity. Takes the checked in packing slip to the Inventory Control Clerk for processing.
• Documents any damaged shipment on the shipper’s bill of lading and informs the Inventory Control Clerk of the damaged products.
• Stocks all parts in the proper location after they have been checked in.
• Packs and ships part orders, part returns and core returns.
• Pulls parts for local delivery and stages them in the delivery staging area as needed.
• Operates a fork lift as needed.
• Performs bin checks and assists with Cycle Counts as needed.
• Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor
