About The Position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform pre-shift forklift inspections on
Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data,
equipment downtime, production output and other key metrics, performing
mathematical calculations as
Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift to move raw materials or finished
products throughout the manufacturing floor, which includes, but is not
limited to, keeping production line clear and running and keeping product and
raw materials properly stored.
Visually inspect material for quality defects; Segregate defective product
and notify
Fill dumpsters from production floor; Housekeeping of plant (inside and out).
Work as a team with production and shipping team to follow all facility
Standard Works/processes and improve operations.
Support the recycling area, when needed, and help to keep it
Fill in on other areas of the plant (e.g., Warehouse) as
Assists other forklift operators as
Other duties as

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Highly motivated with a good, sound work
Prior experience operating a propane sit-down forklift or other mobile
equipment (Powered Industrial Trucks).
Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to

Basic computer, mathematics, and problem-solving skills; ability to use a
